Marie-Claire Daveu

Chief sustainability officer | Kering


Marie-Claire Daveu is the Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of international institutional affairs at Kering, as well as a member of Kering’s Executive Committee. She is responsible for the continued development of Kering’s sustainability strategy and operationalizing sustainability across the Group, while simultaneously directing institutional affairs world-wide.

Daveu joined the company from the public sector where she served as chief of staff to French politician Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, within the Ministry of Ecology and other areas from 2007 to 2012. Prior, Daveu was senior director of sustainable development at Sanofi-Aventis Group. She was also previously technical adviser to the cabinet of Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin and chief of staff to Serge Lepeltier, Minister of Ecology and Sustainability.

Daveu is a graduate of the Paris Grignon National Institute of Agronomy (INA PG), the National School of Rural Engineering, Water and Forests (ENGREF) and holder of a DESS (masters) in public administration from the University of Paris Dauphine.
