Cecilia Strömblad Brännsten
Circular Lead | H&M Group
Cecilia Strömblad Brännsten is Circular Economy Lead at the H&M group. As a Sustainability Business Expert on circular economy and sustainable materials she is leading the work on H&M’s 100% circular strategy including the goals of having a circular approach to how products are made and used and only using recycled or other sustainably sourced materials by 2030. She has from the launch in 2013 acted as the Global Project Manager for the H&M Garment Collecting Initiative and worked on the H&M group efforts to close the loop on textile.
Strömblad Brännsten has worked at H&M since 2004 and she is involved in several global collaborations on circularity and sustainable materials such as responsible for the partnership with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the C2C fashion +, the leaders working group of the Canopy style Initiative, a member of the investment committee of the Organic Cotton Accelerator as well as member of the advisory board of the Swedish Fashion council.
